A point about these AEGIS or AEGIS like combattants
In general in more for AAW capabilities they are the more powerful, exist since 1983, service/commissioned date for the 1st of the class for all classes :

USA have 84 in 09/2016
Ticonderoga AEGIS CG designed, build for engage more air targets especialy protect in 1980's US CV/CVN vs USSR eventual saturing attacks mainly new SS-N-19 up to 100 misiles about from Subs,

Bombers, eventualy surface combattants in practice extr. difficult with CAW thread.
USN envisaged at this time have 2 Ticonderoga for each CBG

One Ticonderoga is able to engage 18 targets simult with SPY-1 and one by SPG-51 they have 4 total 4 so 22 targes eng simult, Burkehave only 3 SPG-51 so max 21 targets.

Others US CG/CGN in general 4 targets simult others 2, in general one target simult by fire control radars, depends classes sometimes2 as Perry but only one radar.

1983 5 x Ticonderoga but with only MK-26 with arms,
1986 from Bunker Hill 22 x Ticonderoga with new Mk-41

Then in 1990 new DDG Burke, use same AEGIS and Mk-41 than Ticonderoga but less cell's 90 vs 122 in service 62 in 09/2016.

Then first no US used by an other country are Japanese, 10 in 09/2016 :
4 x Kongo, 1993 joined in
2 x Atago, 2007 main diffrences 90 vs 96 cell's, no hangar for helos Atago have for 2 helos and Atago similar to Burlke Fl IIa, Austin, have 8 AShm US not.
4 x Akizuki , 2012 use only ESSM no LR SAM
25 DD, in order 2, 2018, use only ESSM no LR SAM
27 DD, in order 2, 2020 A new variant of Atago replace 2 Hatakaze

Then European countries begin build their own AEGIS like combattants early 2000's :
24 in 09/2016
Netherlands 4 x De Zeven Provincien, 2002
Spain 5 x Bazan, 2002
Germany, 3 x Sachsen, 2004
UK 6 x Daring, 2009
France, 2 x Forbin, 2008
Italy, 2 x Doria, 2007
Denmark, 2 x Iver Huitfeld, 2011

After China, 10 in 09/2016 :
052C x 6, 2004
052D x 4, 2014 + 8 normaly
055 for 2019/20

South Korea, 3 in 09/2016 :
Sejong the Great/KD-III x 3 + maybe 3 later the more powerful except Kirov with 144 cell's, launchers, in more 2 RAM !!!

Then India, 2 in 09/2016
Kolkata x 2 + 1, 2014 use only Barak-8, 70 /90 km no completely LR SAM
Vishakhapattanam Pr 15B ordered x 4, 2018 ? planned Barak-8ER, SAM LR.

Soon Russia
New Gorshkov, end 2016 or 2017
Normaly Nakhimov/Kirov modernized for 2018 several hundreds of missiles the more powerful

Australia
Hobbart x 3, 2017 similar to Spanish Bazan.

Africa with much poor countries and South America don' t have or planed get these category of combattants.

After we see AEGIS or AEGIS like systems, radars and launchesr/weapons capacities.

Nb : i consider SAM LR missiles with a range of 100 + km, SM-6 can be considered very LR, 240+ km !
