2026 Israel-US vs. Iran conflict [Military updates/News Only]

How can they do that? That is a question that no one in the entire world has an answer.

It is what Carl von Clausewitz said, that you got to mass or concentrate the force, then attack.

So, the United States must mass a force somewhere, from which it can launch an attack or invasion. But, all you base belong to us. Iranian missiles work.

At the height of the Vietnam War for the Americans, there was over 600,000 troops in South Vietnam. They will need such numbers again and probably more. They need to reinstate the draft. Yes, the same draft that their current president was able to evade five times.

That Kharg Island idea is pure lunacy. The United States does not have air superiority, and Iran can hit that island with artillery hidden in the mountains.

It is kind of bizarre. It is like the Americans cannot accept they have no more bases left in the region to mount such an operation, but still talk like they do. No, they have no capability to do this.

The United States is outgunned in this fight. Iran has home field advantage. The United States is outgunned, plain and simple.

Only one side is running out of ammo. We can be sure about that.

:oops::D
According to the news article (in Vietnamese, kindly use Google Translate) I read below, the US is considering sending troop to take control of Kharg island of Iran.

UAE is totally without production for now.

Yanbu and Fujairah are the only 2 major export outlets left since Iran shut the Strait of Hormuz. Fujairah has already suspended operations after repeated attacks. Now Yanbu is getting hit too.

The Iranian toll booth is fully operational, confirmed now.

"Papers, credentials, destination, and no sudden movements."

On the topic of the ground war. Its simply mathematically impossible:

Gulf leaders taken aback by scale of attacks

BBC South Asia Correspondent, in Dubai

It's not the first time Iran has targeted countries in the Gulf who host US military bases. What leaders in the region are taken aback by is the scale of these attacks.

Residential areas and civilian infrastructure have been damaged, and major energy facilities targeted.

Here in the UAE, officials insist they are capable of handling the more than 2,000 missiles and drones launched at them since the start of the war.

But like other Gulf countries, they have warned against the "threat to global energy security" and the long-term consequences of this war.

Economies in the Gulf built on tourism, energy and technology are at risk of seeing their investment, planning and hopes deeply injured.

One UAE official says he is surprised by the extent of Iran's willingness to target countries that have played a mediating role.

Dealing with years of sanctions and seen as a major threat by the West and Israel, Iran was already isolated before this war.

But should the regime survive, it has severely damaged relations with mediators it has previously counted on.

Did the foreign controlled fools in the Gulf states truly believe they can aid in an all out attack against Iran and not get their teeth kicked in in the process? Did they think the US would hold the ground and protect them? Or that their own paper tiger militaries were up to the task of defending them?

Also the turks should watch their tongue, Tel Aviv already has them on their list.
