096 is unrealistic because we have no indication of it starting construction, 095 is more likely to be shown

Even 09V would be a stretch in 2027. Even if we say 09V is launched today, the lead boat entering service within 2 years is not impossible, but would need to be speedy for what is a whole new SSN class in every sense of the word.
And even if it managed to enter service in 2027, the idea of the PLAN officially showing a new nuclear submarine that has just entered service months ago, is very unlikely.

09IIIB reveal in an official capacity in 2027 is more viable.

I am sure there are much more new weapons that haven't shown on the parade such as the PL16 and other PL series

Hi,
how this laser bean work against in coming missiles around the range of 20 miles,
in case of volley of missiles how many can be stoped I think 1/2 can still sneak before
been burn out
& it depends on the time how long the laser will take down single missile
within its range.
thank you
Laser is not the only air defense weapon, it is in the inner side of multi-layer defense. HQ-9 and HQ-16 will take down most of the incoming missiles. Laser, HQ-10 and H/PJ-11 (type 1130 CIWS) will deal with the ones that get through.

It is unlikely that they will used only the laser as CIWS. However, to answer your question, if we assume (200 - 300KW) LY-1 takes 2 second to disable each target, it can potentially destroy over 20 targets in a minute, or at least 60 targets in the final 3 minutes of engagement.

I really wanna see this in action. Hopefully they release the clip of their test at some point

China’s military display shows it has the might to back up Xi’s vision of a new world order

At least read it to the end... Oh. it's finally our familiar CNN style...

China famously hasn’t fought in a proper high-intensity conflict, arguably since the Korean War, certainly since the Sino-Vietnamese war (in 1979). So, what does that tell us about their ability to prevail? As we learned from Russia’s experience in Ukraine, you can’t just count the beans,” said Panda.
Meanwhile, by way of comparison, it’s hard to argue with the US military’s ability to put firepower on target.
The US strike on Iranian nuclear sites in June, when seven B-2 stealth bombers dropped 14 of the world’s most powerful conventional weapons on target while not drawing any counterfire, is hard to imagine within China’s current abilities.
For one thing, the PLA Air Force has yet to show a stealth bomber in the B-2’s category, although one is said to be in the works. Even then, the next generation US bomber, the B-21, is already in the prototype stage.
So, there’s a wariness in the analyst community, even after the impressive show in Beijing Wednesday.
Retired Australian Army Maj. Gen. Mick Ryan said he believed the US remained the strongest military in the world, “but probably by a lesser margin than it has been for many decades” with China closing the gap.
The Chinese military is very technologically sophisticated… but most importantly, it just about builds everything it needs indigenously,” he told CNN, adding that it means Beijing could not be “coerced” by foreign weapon suppliers.
But he noted none of the weapons on display have been tested in combat.
Impressive on the surface, parades are not a good indicator of military effectiveness,” Ryan said.
