By "YJ-21", you mean YJ-20 right? Since that's the designation we just saw two days ago.

They probably mean that two ALBMs that the H-6 carries.

But the sea-based version (YJ-20) should indeed be a project of the same period

Speaking of which - Apparently all their TELs use the "ZL" prefix. I suppose it refers to "Strategic" (战略, ZLue4).

Yes, you're right. The first two digits of the parade code are indeed the phonetic abbreviations for the parade's classification. For example, HZ stands for "Naval Battle Module."

Based on experience from previous parades, the first digit represents the sequence number of the formation within the module, and the last two digits represent the sequence number of the vehicles within the formation.

However, this year, there are too many numbers like X5X and X8X. I don't believe a single formation will have more than 80 vehicles, so the validity of this rule remains to be determined.
