2025 Israel - Iranian conflict

Not to many on all sides unfortunately. Both Russia and Iran were hyped up as giant threats to both Europe and Israel respectively. On the plus side though, its a good thing we learned this before getting into a global conflict with either of the two because if I had to rely on either of these “allies” in a war I’d rather just wave the white flag. It seems it’s always just been China after all for all this talk about an axis and BRICS.

They have to go all out now absolutely yeah but at this point I’m left wondering if they could even deal significant damage to Israel even if they empty their arsenal.
I’m hoping for Iran’s sake that this is just surface damage and they still have most of their capabilities intact, within reinforced shelters or underground. And they likely do. Just like when Ukraine hits huge ammo depots in Russia, yet has little to no effect on the front, as most of their exposed stuff is just what they either have an excess of, or were about to actively use at the time, I assume the same applies to Iran.

Russia will at least end up with a huge chunk of land. But Iran? Absolute failure of their foreign policy during the last decade! They withstood all of those crippling sanctions for what? They sacrificed thousands of soldiers in Syria for what? Israelis completely outplayed them.

Iran should have built the bomb years ago quietly instead of issuing big threats. Their crazy fanatic leadership just wasted 30 years of their country for literally nothing. One needs to be humble and continue to work hard for improvement. Even I as a civilian could see something was coming (US moving their staff, threat warnings etc) and they couldn't put their top leadership in secure locations?

I hate to say this. But Israeli strike is very well telegraphed. There were reports of Israeli finalizing military preparations as well as US pulling out non essential personnel from its embassies in the region. Key personnel like top nuclear scientists should have been relocated as a precaution. This just shows the gross incompetence of Iranian state security.
Agreed. Why the hell were they not in bunkers or underground to begin with? Especially when they knew Israel was planning this. It’s almost like Iran is just trying to be dumb. They have so many well designed bunkers and tunnels in place, yet they barely use them. Lunacy.

From yesterday:

Iranian official: 'Israel is bluffing on behalf of the United States. They want an agreement and they want us to fold on our demands in the negotiations, but we won't.'

@Middle_East_Spectator

Absolutely clueless ...
