I guess it's the NK strategy. With no foreign trade, the country itself will make everything they need, the people will make the country great again without foreigners bothering the economy.

Let's be honest it hasn't entirely failed for NK. They have a more developed country than India. That's gotta count for something right?

I think if you just bring everyone's standard of living back down to that of a developing nation, remove most government regulation on workplace safety, the environment, etc, collapse the value of the dollar, deport millions of people from your labour fource then I can totally see the United States becoming a manufacturing superpower over the next 150 years.

If Trump implements Project 2025, and the Republicans maintain power in the next election, the US could be said to have abandoned liberalism entirely. Which will lead to a chain reaction across the West since the US is the de facto political and ideological leader.

I hope Asia is taking notice as liberal infiltration has been disastrous and some countries have been utterly devastated (in birth rates, marriage rates, gender identity politics, etc.) by it. Hopefully Asia does NOT see this as an opportunity to take over global leadership of liberalism. But as a cautionary tale of the capricious nature of Western ideologies and why you shouldn’t put your faith in them.

A capitalist society abandoning liberalism entirely is quite dangerous. Liberals and fascists alike believe in the unchecked power of big capital, a Darwinian society and government regulation solely as a means of mediation between capitalists. The big difference between fascism and liberalism is the veneer of internal debate and tolerance. Without it, the social Darwinism, expansionism and militarism is all that's left.

Can we change this to the Trump policy on China thread?

It appears that Mike Waltz has been appointed as his National Security Adviser. He has an interview with NPR that is quite illuminating.

It appears the Trump administration is going to try and get China to stop buying oil from Iran and Russia, and put pressure on North Korea, using the threat of sanctions. I hope that no matter what threats or pressures the U.S. puts on China (which can be very heavy and painful), China won't cave on this. Because if you sell out Iran, Russia, and North Korea under U.S. threats to avoid U.S. sanctions or other foreign policy moves against China, then the U.S. rolls up Iran, Russia, and North Korea... what do you think they are going to do next? Target China, of course.

i think that the first move of china should be sending troops to help russia to crush ukraine, second do a nuclear test, third taiwan blockade. Trump respect force, show him some.

The Americans can’t force China to stop trading relations with Russia or their North Korean partners. Especially when everyone is expecting a huge trade war and economic embargo. Threat or No Threat. The natural resources from Russia will continue to be purchased. Not to mention the direct land borders with both sides. Iran is a different case.

If you want to put your concerns. It should be on Russia or Iran. Not China. Given that Russia has already been sanctioned to oblivion and their economic map pushed eastward. No amount of fake carrots that the Trump Admin think will work as a trick is going to alter the Russians non-western economic relations. Iran on the other hand is a different matter due to geography.

Iran can trade with Russia through the Caspian Sea. They both share a sea border on an internal sea where US ships cannot travel. It is just that transport routes between both countries are underdeveloped. But investments are being made to solve this.

Russia is building cargo vessels to conduct trade with Iran, including bulk carriers and container ships, while Iran is building a railroad linking the ports in northern Iran in the Caspian Sea with southern Iran where they have ports in the Indian ocean.

You talk as though Biden hasn't begged China to not trade with them, or that US sanctions against Russia had any effect.
It's good that they're focused on sanction delusions, because it's defending against Chinese sanctions that they really should be focused on.

How come every time you write, it sounds like you're 14 and trying to say something for participation points in politics class?

Funny Western wishes as always, akin to the Dutch captain asking to borrow cannon balls from his enemy mid-battle.
I hope that no matter what threats or pressures the U.S. puts on China (which can be very heavy and painful)
Was more painful for the US last time.
, China won't cave on this.
Weren't you the one who said we should plea for better relations with the US? I'm sure it was you.
Because if you sell out Iran, Russia, and North Korea under U.S. threats to avoid U.S. sanctions or other foreign policy moves against China, then the U.S. rolls up Iran, Russia, and North Korea... what do you think they are going to do next? Target China, of course.
LOLOL No shit, Captain Obvious. How long did it take you to realize you can't ditch your friends and let them get picked off by your enemies? You should write a book just listing obvious shit that everyone understands as assumptions.

1. Protect your country because it would be bad if it were to be overtaken by an aggressive neighbor.
2. If you go to war, it would be nice to win.
3. When managing an economy, try your best not to end up in a recession.
4. When you ban something from being sold to someone in order to cripple him, but he makes it himself instead, that's bad for you.
etc... etc... etc...

Kinda what I've been saying about what fuels support for Donald Trump.
Asian guy's playing soft ball on the old timer. He has to state that whites have their base in Europe. Then ask,

"Would you consider what your ancestors did to take the North American continent from its natives, killing them, making them a marginal minority by now, wrong? If so, should we right that wrong by packing up all the whites back to Europe so the descendents of those Native Americans can repopulate the continent?"

"Does your crime of turning others into a minority make you fear becoming a minority yourself?"

"You said your ancestors did not intend to give America away. Do you think the Native Americans intended to give it away to you?"

"Are you saying that you really really don't want done to you what you did to others, despite others doing it through peaceful travel and biological reproduction and you doing it through violent slaughter?"

"Do you think that non-whites should consider themselves or be considered Americans? If not, does that mean that Chinese-blooded scientists, PhDs and engineers should all leave America and go work for China?"

"Are you saying that this Chinese restaurant that you are so glutinously stuffing your face in right now shouldn't exist? And if so, why are you eating here? Shouldn't you be at like a MacDonald's or something?"

I don't see how he could not have a stroke trying to answer those questions while still sounding like a human being.
