I hope so as well, especially looking at the US's manipulation of the IOC, the removal of sports which China dominates like weightlifting while inflating their own medal counts with idiotic sports like surfing and skateboarding, not to mention swimming and athletics

It's going to be a huge medal sweep and propaganda lap for the declining US empire. I hope China does everything possible to poke holes at the event like they're doing to Beijing 2022.

Quite a few of Freestyle Aerial ski jumpers have gymnastics background actually. Not sure about snow boarding.

Table tennis is easy. Paddles and balls cost next to nothing and there is a table in pretty much every community in China. Every one can participate at minimum cost. Something like skiing and snowboarding could run in tens of thousands of dollars without medical costs.

Now with all the new skiing resorts and indoor skiing centers, China should send more athletes to snowboarding and skateboarding.

More would show up. Su Yiming only trained for three years and he is already medaling. Imagine what an additional four years of scientific training could do for other Chinese talents. From what I've heard Japan and China have started using indoor training mattes for snowboarding/skiing training. These have 80 fidelity of real snow and allow athletes to practice aggressive maneuvers all year round. This has yet to catch on in U.S. and Canada.

How about curling there must enough regions in China where one can set up outdoor curling rinks from temporarily iced over ponds

P/S Ive always wondered why China isn't a significant force in road cycling competitions. Other than having a good bike and a bit of gym training, what else do you need?

The stone is extremely expensive. It is only crafted in Scotland if I am not mistaken.

That said of course you can do curling with other objects as well. PLA stationed in Tibet got away with using anti-tank mines.
