Amazed that the US just won their first gold (Women disks) in the track & field after four days of competitions. Really can't see them overhauling China's gold medals count at the moment. Do China still have good 20 & 50 km walkers?

I still think US can top the charts in both medals and gold. Towards the end of this week there are artistic gymnastics, track and field etc that US will try to dominate.

Doesn't mean China can't eye for the top. But it'll take some upsetting.

I can't see them getting much in the track and field tbh. In the sprints, the women 200m will probably go to the US, maybe the relays, but that's only 50/50. The rest of the world have caught up with the US in most track and field events now. It's not such a gimme for the US anymore.
