Wat happened? Did he choke?
Chen Long has won more World Championships and Olympics medals than anyone except Lin Dan. However, his achievement was never recognized due to his playing style.

Since his semi-final win was razor-thin, let's not get too hyped up for the final. Any one of the runners who had previously consistently clocked faster times than him could surprise him. So even if he did not win a bronze, his 9.83 still stands at world-class.
Su finished 6th. Still all six men under 10 seconds. What's with disqualification? It used to get one warning.
New rule said that unless outside interference, you got disqualified and no warning. Su gave all he got in the semifinal.

Things could be different had he not have an uncharacteristically slow start.
He ran the semifinal as if it's the final. He could have run 9.98 for the semifinal and leave more energy for the final but he would need to be in the other semifinals to qualify.
