Already getting trimmed from 14 gold medals in 2020 to 10 gold medals in 2024. But hey, they're adding more subjective events like breakdancing where judges aren't corruptible at all.

Olympics is literally another word for corruption. IMO, any subjective score based activity should not be included at all. So gymnastics, synchronized swimming, diving, figure staking all should be removed.
Breakdancing is a joke, it's all based on preference.
Things that can be measured like swimming, track, weightlifting actually make sense as Olympic sports. Same with the ball sports where scores are kept.
At the rate we are going, there should be eSports added too. China, USA and Korea will dominate Pubg, battlefield and CoD. Certainly more sporty than breakdancing.
It isn't the first time IOC threatened to eliminate weightlifting. Most likely there would be a compromise such as they already trimmed down the gold medals to 10 in Paris. Table tennis, badminton and weightlifting previous reforms end up restricting Chinese participation and domination.
A bit like today then. Clearly China was robbed of that gymnastic medal.
No worries. If they do BS stuff like this then China would simply have to offer citizenship for the greatest break dancers in New York and LA.

South Korea actually dominates competitive break dancing lol (at least back when I followed it)
Then even better. Any South Korean break dancer who doesn’t want to go through mandatory military service is welcomed to join the Chinese team.
But the Japanese manage to add the mixed doubles for table tennis. China should demand adding doubles for table tennis and team event for badminton.
