10 M diving was worrying at first. Daley did really well on his first 2 dives and lead both the Chinese but he couldn't keep up as the difficulty got higher and eventually lost by tens of points. Yang Jian supposedly did the world's most difficult dive (4.1 rating) and scored 580. When Cao Yuan did a 3.6 to near perfection (9.5) and beat him with a 582, oh, man he looked pissed. I thought they'd celebrate beating the Brit but he was in no celebratory mood. No smiles, no hand-shaking, right to the shower. He did some stink eye talking, pointing, looks like he was really not satisfied with the result. Uncharacteristically unhappy after a finish; could they be national rivals and hate each other?

They got about 37 gold and 91 medals in London?
91 medals, but gold are more important and have always been considered to be. If China finishes with a higher gold medal count than in 2012 but ends up with 3-5 total medals less or something I don't think it should be considered inferior.
This is affecting team chemistry and should be discouraged. They should put the country's glory before personal interests.
