I thought the agreement was for domestic usage only. Pakistan can use the F-16 and its weapons 'within' their airspace. The F-16 and everything related to it cannot be used beyond the borders of Pakistan regardless of offense/defense. So if the PAF F-16 crossed the line of control the US will be pissed (same with the AIM-120 C5). This is probably why they want to keep any F-16 engagement classified. I don't think there is any rule preventing the PAF from using their F-16 and AIM-120 if the IAF crossed into Pakistan airspace.

To all members, Pakistan officially never claimed that they shoot down SU-30 rather they said PAF shoot down 2 IAF aircraft & captured 1 IAF pilot..

Its all started when Indian media quoted that their SU was downed after that all speculations and discussions started on different forums.

But on serious note, its really ridiculous, they allowed him only 9 minutes with his family since his release.

How's china responses on this . on one hand Sino-pak are ally . on the other china don't want piss off India too much so it become more involved in US info-Pacific strategy

I don't think China will get involve considering the situation has now slightly cooled off. Short of some sudden escalation and another shooting incident I think China or even the US will just let things be as they may.

The unfortunate part is the semi related primary core issue has once again not been addressed properly and incidents like these though seem disconnected will likely to continue to happen in the future.

Until India/Pakistan can truly come together with REAL goals and objectives for a peaceful resolution in addressing the Kashmir issue, there will ALWAYS be tension!

You know reading all these reports about the incident makes me think of the wise saying as coined thousands of years ago by the Greek philosopher Aeschylus.
It's true then, is true today and will be true forever.

Is the PAF JF-17s currently equipped with the KJ-7 V1 or the longer range V2 radar? Is it true that the JF-17 Block III will be equipped with the KF-7A AESA? Without AESAs, it would be a hack of a challenge for even the brightest JF-17 pilots to go up against the Su-30MKI.
