Can you stop with this nonsense? There was NO explosion in that video of yours but a small moment of glare as the camera lens were adjusting. The image you posted below proves this in fact. Why is the colour spilling over the tree and in between the tree and the camera? If it is what you claim, the explosion should be mostly hidden by the tree but there it is IN FRONT of the tree. Try harder in disseminating your media's bullshit next time. If there is F-16 shot down, this video is NOT showing it.

Where is the video of two parachutes? All Indian media is saying is "trust us we've got it". Conveniently missing but I guess it's done the job of fooling Indian nationalists.

You showed footage of at least 1 JF-17 flying in a straight line. More embarrassingly claimed your own Mig-21 wreckage as proof of F-16 shot down. This is hilariously pathetic and just weakened everyone's respect for Indian forces.

Forget going into Pakistan alone. I can guarantee you that Indian forces will not touch Pakistan after the real capable side has shown a little bit of what they can do. You can keep eating up the false bravado from your media, that's all you will get in real life. They may even make up more stories of how India used top secret military technologies to hit new targets successfully and everyone normal country and person will let you guys have that tiny feel good victory and let you all dance with Indian flags waving everywhere. Can you please give him a warning? Surely at this point, after we've all been debunking his crap and asking him to provide real evidence not twitter claims manufactured by Indian media, he should be warned or banned outright. Proven to be a troll. How much does it take?

I do not know about this pilot's specific situation, but some air forces take pilots out of leading edge aircraft platforms once they reach a certain age.
So it might be as simple as that. That the Indians only have younger pilots on the Su-30 MKIs and this guy is old enough that he was put into a less expensive platform. In other countries older pilots are put into transport aircraft even.

Once you get over 30 years old your reflexes start giving in and sometimes you even lose vision. So that's one of the reasons.
Usually you don't see people aged 40 and older on fighter aircraft.

IMO a reason for the denial by PAF in the use of F-16s in the recent exchange as attributed to a possible violation of supply terms with the US is probably overstated. I have not seen the terms and the nature of any imposition but in the event a nation has to resort to use of force (ius ad bellum) the justification in international law is centred around the principle of necessity and proportionality. I think Pakistan can reasonably make the argument that it acted out of necessity in self defence due to the initial violation and aggression by India (notwithstanding the issue of terrorist within its borders). Pakistan can argue that it has to act to deter further aggression. This argument can be sustained by the fact that it limited its actions proportionally to India's initial violation. The upshot is that even if there was any imposition by the US on usage, it would be an unreasonable limitation on Pakistan for any act that is for self defence and would be difficult for the US to fault on Pakistan. .

In the next few days, these speculations and whatnot might be overshadowed by more significant events. I think it's highly likely.
