That's because they already know through exit polling methods. A while back there was the hoopla that TV networks were already announcing winners in each state before their polls closed which started an outcry that it could influence people going to vote last minute. Now they wait until polls close. It's all a show because the people behind the scenes already know the results so I'm looking for ques on which cheerleading party pundits look depressed.
