I don't know what that little hump behind the 093B is for, but I have no idea how that thing is long enough to hold VL cells for cruise missiles. Unless it's a test platform for like a single pair of VL cells.

Clearest best shots of the Type 093B ever. Until even better shots come around. The hump looks too subtle to be a VLS. I suspect it has something to do with a heightened nuclear reactor.

In photos that emerged a couple years ago, that hump was much more pronounced. It looks like those photos may have been from an early test model. Back then, the hump was attributed to a VLS.
