075 LHD thread

Seems highly unlikely that an LHD can hold six of lcac. Type 726 measures 33m x 16m. A ship that carries six of these will be way heavier than 30000 tonnes. Even if the ship uses its entire lowest level as a dock(unlike the above pic which seems to divide functionality of lowest level between various types of storage), it'll be quite a stretch to fit 6 of those behemoth 726 into the dock. (Bdw, does somebody have a picture of 4 type 726 inside the type 071?, i've come across various pics showing 3 of them inside the dock but had a doubt about its official statement of fitting 4 lcac).

4x LCAC in each 075 is probably a reasonable number.

a large part of this would also depend on what kind of LCAC the 075 will carry in the future. If it is still the Yuyi class LCAC, then the 075 can at least be reasonably expected to carry no less then the 071 (x4). If how ever a new LCAC with a longer length is introduced, then the numbers might be different.

Type 726 is already one of the largest lcac ever produced.. I dont see why they would require to further enhance the weight now that they are already having difficulties in providing engines for them..

What engine difficulty ? They already replace the problematic Ukrainian engine with domestic QC70 I believe and they have solve the problem That is why we see mass production of type 726 read Henri K article on the subject
People are guessing engine problem because they don't see type 726 carry large load
That is because they haven't figure out doctrine to train with type 726

It would really help to see a type 726 carrying load (close to allowed max)of any kind to clear doubts about it being underpowered. I haven't come across any confirmation of that.

People have to live with doubt as PLA is not listening to people's complains of not seeing the proof. Similar to the doubt of 09IV was ever able to launch JL-2 to over 8000km.

Its not about clearing peoples doubt.. Rather confirming its own capabilities..
For example in case of checking the combat readiness of their ARG, like deploying lcacs on type 071, they certainly need to carry load on those lcac..
If they dont, then its a problem..

That these sorts of tests and exercises are being done doesn’t mean that we will always or usually get visual or verbal evidence that they happened.

I am sure PLA will have to do these tests, but they usually just don't show anybody else, except when there is a public message to be sent.
