Because the official abbreviation of Guangxi Province is 桂, like how the abbreviation of Guangdong is 粤 and the abbreviation of Shanghai is 沪. The city of 桂林 was historically the provincial capital, which is where the abbreviation comes from.

No, this is a photo from Feb. 7 2021, those two 075s have been at sea for a long time.

If you'd go back just one page in this thread, you'd realise the first two 075s are now operational and only one is left still on trials. I dont mean to dunk on newish members but its worth checking threads and current status of info before posting vastly outdated stuff. No offense.
