I don't believe they would leave scaffolding in place and various containers on the flight deck if the vessel was heading for second sea trials.

Just a quick response the Russian are working on a new LHD. We'll see how it will turn out.
Hmmm, curious. The type 075 has two sets of port and starboard navigation lights. One Set below flight deck On the forward corner of the first sponson from the bow, the second set on the superstructure just forward of the close-in defence missile launcher.
I’ve never seen any other ship that carry two set of port and starboard lights. it would be quite against normal navigation practice to use both sets at once. I wonder when each set would be used.
perhaps the set above deck is for normal navigation use, the set below deck is for use when Conducting nighttime flight operations so as to not destroy the night vision, or saturate the low light goggles and cameras of the crew and pilots on deck

Same here, it look so ungainly with the design of the superstructure, if they took the front design of Japan IZUMO class or SK DOKDO class it will be aesthetically pleasing, that's my view
I would agree that Izumo does actually look quite good. But its more the exception than the rule. The Mistral class looks objectively worse and so does the America Class. The America class looks almost like they went out of the way to build a 1970's cruiser... but again, its all about function, not looks. I think after 055, people had the idea that china was designing ships the way Italians design cars... Even most adversaries do agree the 055 looks really good.
Since Type-075 will not be carrying a VTOL fighter/bomber, what is the purpose of such a ship that can only carry helicopters? As far I know, Helicopters are extremely vulnerable to ground based SAM systems. Even MANPADS can take down helicopters. This ship can carry helicopter gunships to be used on the beaches and shores to bombard defender positions from the air. But helicopter gunships will be very vulnerable over water without the ability to hide behind ground features such as trees or hills.
PLA might be better served with more Type-071 for troop transportation and Aircraft carrier for Air support during amphibious assault.
