Both radars appear related. The one on the Type 075 is a dual band that it is presumably an S-band in one side, which is the bigger side, and the X-band on the other side, which is the smaller side. The S-band is angled a bit more to the sky to facilitate aerial search, while the X-band is towards the horizon and the surface, which makes it intended to search for sea skimmers that can pop over the radar horizon.
On the new radar, it seems to me the panel is like the first radar's S-band panel but turned around 90 degrees, so it is taller than it is wider. This improves the ability for the radar to do elevation scans at the expense of horizontal scans. The new one is both S-band on each side, no dual band here. Given the angle of the face, its optimized for aerial volume search. I am not sure of the dimensions but it appears to be around that of the Type 382 Top Plate.
The final model for the new radar is not likely what you will see here. Just like the Type 075's new radar, they may add things on the side and on the top, for the purpose of reducing the radar's own radar reflection against enemy radars.
There might be a possibility that the next Type 075 might switch to this, and if not, the next ship after. A possibility this may be used instead of future destroyer upgrade programs, and maybe even on the Type 054A upgrade later.
