so it's significantly wider than the Wasp, this explains why it has comparable displacement to the Wasp inspite of being shorter.

The beam of 075, as one can see, is quite a bit wider than previously estimated(30m) and both Wasp(31.8m) and America(32m) class as the latter are limited by Panamax standards.

Total usable flight deck area seems to be in close comparison to the US LHD considering the 075 island is quite petite but the lifts hinder quite a bit of area.

I don't think so, the width of the Wasp class (31.8m) and the America class (32m) are referred to the beam at waterline, therefore the width of the flightdeck (without the elevator) of these three LHD should be relative the same.

Blimey, how stupid of me to jump to conclusions.

Alright, i think its pretty accurate USS wasp flight deck is 118ft(35.9m)
So 075 flight deck is just as wide if not a bit wider than USS Wasp. Still, the largest thing to fly off its deck for atleast a decade would be Z-18,20, not Chinook,Osprey or F35, so space shouldn't be an issue.

Is that reddish square near bow forward elevator? Seems a bit smaller than stern elevator but consider it only transports helicopter it might be enough?

Z19 is too light be a true naval helicopter

I doubt it would be used

Z19 appear very much in the Same weight class of the AH-1 super-cobra. The super cobra is very often used from amphibious ships.

If the sea and air around landing site is reasonably secure, and enemy anti-air capability is weak or suppressed, then deploying a large number of z19 from the Type 075 to support the beach head would seem like a very useful capability.

Do we know the range of z10 and z19? From what I gather their MTOW are different in like 2 tons. Without armor, gun turret and its ammunition and consume less fuel being a lighter design, the two may have similar operation range. If a z-19 with MMW radar can reach beachhead with reasonable fuel I would say it can potentially offer more support than a z-10 could with his still impressive armament and good sensor.
