Ok guys

I can tell you one thing here

I have zoomed and checked every aspect of this warship

And my conclusion is this

Officially according to me this is the best looking and stunning warship in the Chinese navy, Yes the Type 055 looks great with those shapes at mid section but Type 075 LHD takes the crown

I have followed PLAN trust me and i have seen warships but this one bites the dust

100% on the money, best LHD class design and best designed warship in PLAN

Every angle gives a fine tuned view, it’s got the looks

The initial findings like length of under 230m may disappoint when compared to Wasp class.
But keeping in mind it would embark medium size heli and not many large aircrafts like Ospreys, king stallions or lightnings any time soon, i think its quite alright if it has 6 landing spots in a tighter configuration as compared to wasp.

what do you think about the size, were you a bit disappointed?

This question was not directed at me but I am a little disappointed by the size, but if it means more will be built and perhaps cheaper as it shares more components with the 071 then it's a fair tradeoff. The 075 and CV16/17 should meet China's mission needs within the 1st island chain well, which are the nearer term and more crucial needs anyways as compared to larger designs to take on high end military missions further afield. And these designs will also be fine for MOOTW anywhere.

For about half a year now, fzgfzy has been saying that the 075 would displace 31,500 tons full, so I think the expectations of 075's size was already shaped around such a ship.

Looking at the ship here, and going by some new recent comments by pop3, it seems like the displacement is being adjusted a bit higher to 36,000 tons full.

Given my expectations were for a 31,500 ton ship, if the ship is 36,000 tons (which seems consistent with the overall size of the ship now that we have pictures of it in the water), that would actually be a pleasant surprise.
