I just realized that most of the second hull (modules above the water line) are not in dry dock. It would explain my confusion on the official launch ceremony photos. So when those modules on dock side has been completed, the next photos we'll see of the second hull will likely be up to the hanger deck. We might see the launch of the second hull before Spring Festival.

071 profile is just too sleek and slender as compared to 075.

Basically if they push it the second unit can be launched before end of 2019

First sighting of Hull 1 was April 2019

Basically we just went from zero to 2 x LHD launched in 8 months

The Chinese naval architects have out done themselves again, compare to Australia’s Canberra class LHD that looks chunky, she has beautiful lines and just as sexy as the type 055. Can’t wait to see how 003 will finally look like.

The Canberra class looks just as great as any other LHD out there to be honest. The designers for it obviously sees the merit for designing the hull the way it looks now.
