Sorry, I don't mean SAR, I mean Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel (TRAP). It is build from personal and equipment of a Marine Expeditionary Unit on board of an amphibious assault ship.
Arround 2011 the French carrier Charles de Gaule was accompanied by an US helicopter carrier for TRAP missions for example, when from the deck of the French carrier missions over Lybia were flown.

I don't know when this photo was taken, only that it was recent. It's unrealistic to expect the island to be installed so soon, considering that photos from two weeks ago showed half-finished upper decks, with no flight deck installed.
