I hope this is the picture that you meant, I don't see the helipad on the smaller ship. Can you show it to us?

I just checked and Google maps haven't updated yet so the ship's still visible. Just copy and paste 23.093320, 113.405900 into the Google maps search bar and search. What happens to me is that a green arrow appears and points right on top of the ship. Those are decimal coordinates by the way. I might add that this is at across the river from Huangpu shipyard.

The location you are pointing out is just north of the South Sea Fleet' s Huangpu Repair Yard No. 4801 at Guangzhou. There is not a chance that a Type 056 corvette would be seen there in 2010. The ship at the location is probably from one of the civilian agencies, likely fisheries inspection.

As you all should know, Chinese New Year is just 3 days away and for the next week, it's holiday week in China, so we can all take a break for at least 2-3 weeks before anything new shows up - for those who're new to this, it's one whole week of holiday, then at least a week of frantic traffic for folks to get back into cities and return to their job posts.

You are right, the marked ship is Fishery Enforcement 310.
