It's a shell from the main gun.
That big?
Probably due to the "fast movement ghost" of the shell.

Year 20XX, at a certain major naval base in the WestPac:
Since it is known that China has planned another 8x 055s for the PLAN, so the above scenery is definitely possible.
And, obviously, this is CGI-illustrated by @大包CG on Weibo.

An interesting image showing a 055 next to a Type 903/903A replenishment ship. It gives you an idea of the dimensions of the 055; it doesn't look much smaller in comparison.
A helpful satellite view. In fact, 055 appears to be longer above the waterline than the Type 903/903A replenishment ship, which tallies with publicly available specs on these ships.
