The Chinese version of the wikipedia is way more accurate.Do you have any news or are you just comparing to the first Type 055
In a wartime scenario, are there any surface combatant vessels in the PLAN that do not require the intake of seawater as a source of coolant?
I'm just curious about the ramifications of increased EW and global warming, ie: HMS vessels that have repeatedly run into cooling issues
Global warming is projected to increase surface ocean temps by a few degrees at most, is that seriously enough to cause an issue? I'd imagine military ship designs would have pretty large margins of safety.I'm just curious about the ramifications of increased EW and global warming
Why do you think there is a potential problem? When you mention the HMS vessels' cooling issues, what ships are you talking about? QE carrier and Daring class? Their problem with cooling is related to their architecture of IEP. Not the few degrees higher sea temperature. In a wartime scenario, are there any surface combatant vessels in the PLAN that do not require the intake of seawater as a source of coolant?
