Designer of the Type 055 came out with a book "Concept Design of the Destroyer". The cover of the book shows a proposed design for the 055.
That's interesting. The mast has the Chinese Lantern radar that was being tested in Wuhu, and that might be connected to the Type 054B via drawings.

I don't know and I don't really care. I would like to have this book though, to see whats inside.
It's a render of a real book. In the past decade or so, most products use renders for advertising.
