I find the asymmetric CIWS layout a little unexpected. A ship this large ought to have ample room for duplicated CIWS fore and aft to provide 360 degree coverage for all defensive weapons.
HQ-10 can be considered a missile CIWS, just like the RAM and SeaRAM systems, so Type 1130 at the front and 24 missile HQ-10 at the rear.
Some Arleigh Burke are not fitted with a CIWS at all, then later refitted with one CIWS at the front.
Some have SeaRAM at the rear.
Sejong the Great has RAM at the front and Goalkeeper CIWS at the rear.
Sachsen class has no gunnery CIWS at all, has RAM both front and back.
PLAN appears settled with one gun CIWS at the front and one missile CIWS at the rear as defined by the Type 052D, the Type 052C has both fore and aft gun CIWS. Even the leak and rumored drawings of PLAN's next generation frigate, Type 054B, has front gun CIWS with aft missile CIWS.
