So it looks like the new Yuan Wang space tracker hasn't finished fitting yet.

Scaffolding around Type 055 on the lower left corner. By LKJ86 at Pakdef. Not referring to the marked ship which is the subject for another thread.

the first picture by78 posted above in #5864 shows the shipyard overall better, including the aft helipad of 055 #1 in the top left corner of the picture.

Counting the surface combatants at JNCX in that picture...

2 055s in the water
+1 confirmed in assembly

4 052Ds in the water of which 1 is 052D+/052DG/whatever you want to call it

+ 1 055 or 052D that cannot be determined from its aft, in advanced stages of construction
+ modules in the right corner that look like they could be for 1-2 055s or 052D+s

So 9-10 decent sized surface combatants in that single picture

Because they are in the fitting dock?

Any boat or ship that is within this fitting pool is ... fitting.

Something evident in these pictures. Some of these 052D are still using Type 730. The Type 055 is using Type 1130. The "improved" Type 052D we have seen come out a while ago appears to have the Type 1130. Visually, the Type 1130 has a more squared housing than the Type 730.
