054/A FFG Thread II

I guess all 3 Type 054A vessels will be launched at the same time; and then others Type 054A segments (now placed besides the dry dock) will be placed into the dry dock.

There are only 2 054AG FFG hulls in the drydock. The other hull is a 054-mod cutter for the CCG.

The two 054AG FFGs and one 054-mod cutter have been launched at Hudong-Zhonghua. That means the two additional FFG/cutter hulls seen to the left of the drydock last week will be moved into the drydock pretty soon.

The 076 LHD remained in its original position inside the drydock. Satellite photograph by Sentinel-2.

Two 054AG FFGs and one 054-mod cutter fitting out at the basin after their launch two weeks ago. Posted by @sugar_wsnbn on Twitter.

Just an late add-on:

Given the presence of an overhead crane to the top left of the photo and a drydock-shaped sink that lays directly underneath that overhead crane's path + connected to the fitting out basin, is it possible to expect a new, much smaller drydock in that location?

That sink (if it is a drydock) could theoretically construct ~1 DDG/CG-sized, 2 FFG-sized or 3 FFL-sized ships at any given time (guess-timated dimension according to Google Maps is ~300 meters x ~45 meters).

According to the old graphic that area is a module assembly/storage space. The drydock shaped structure should be another construction hall. Sorry for low res, but its the best I could find at short notice. If someone has an image of the yard model at hand, that would be great too.fg_3857968-jdw-9793.tmb-1170x650.jpg

Sure that's a smaller dry dock at the upper left corner of the photo. FYI, the dry dock entry gate was launched on the same day with the three Type 054A/cutter vessels.
