If you noticed the two pictures on top, and compared to the two pictures at the bottom, you will see the growth in all the antenna that has sprung out at the back over the hanger, as a result of retrofits. Similar to the 052C/D retrofits on the deck above the bridge, these relate to datalinks, SATCOM and CEC.

What I think they should do in the successor frigate, is that you see the flat front face of the superstructure below the bridge of the 054A. Its too flat and vertical and that can give a good radar return from the front. They should angle that more, and put a facet on each of the cheeks, so that it looks like a much larger version of the front face on the Type 056. That's also similar to the way its done on the Admiral Gorshkov class frigates. It would also make the ship more aesthetically more pleasing and aggressive.
This can be interesting, as more clues to the 054B. Can't vouch for its authentication, however.

Some actual data on the AJK-16, HQ-16 and Yu-8 to eat on. In my opinion, the AJK-16 is similar to a Mk. 41 in diameter but the maximum length is probably only 5.3 to 5.5 meters. Its multi-role but the missiles you can put in it is limited only to a certain length.

Two "054A" along with a Luda.
At first glance the two frigates look like 054A but the farther ship is actually a 054 that has been stripped and awaiting her conversion. Which makes me think that the second ship is possibly a second 054 that has already been face lifted to a degree it is no longer recognizable as 054.

I highly doubt that. There can be no reasonable financial argument for that significant of a facelift given how little (to no) benefit the 054 would gain in terms of increased stealth from raising the "crease line" to the height of the 054A. The second ship is almost certainly a 054A, possibly an early build ship undergoing maintenance or hardware update.
Yup. Will look forward to see how this ship is done.
