Maybe it is meant to serve as export variant major surface combatants or even as a flagship for smaller navies. Also seems to have 130mm gun rather than 76mm.

The HHQ10 24 round launcher is not up to scale in comparison to the HQ16 illuminators, there are alot about this model does not seem right.

The italian magazine Rivista Italiana Difesa has, in this month's ediction, a brief article on 054B with a reconstruction of her design. I post it, not because I think is particulary realistic but because I think it is very beautifull, a sort of fusion between a 054A, a FREMM, and one of the last generation russian frigate.

It's an old CGI, from a few years back, not official.

Looks nice, but I'm not sure if the real thing will necessarily look like it.

That is quite a ridiculous-looking model. 2 730s AND 2 24-round HHQ-10 launchers??? Even a ship the size of a 055 doesn't get that much point defense, much less a frigate.

Clearly it is from the Russian school of shipbuilding design.
