Thanks for photo........but can you say which number of build quantity this brings the 054A production upto?

I think it should be N°17
That is indeed #15. #16 was just launched last September and is still fitting out. #17 & #18 are just now showing up in modules. (see the 2 posts above)

if we see a 19th unit it means we have
17th unit going to SSF as 575
18th unit going to ESF as 531
and 19th unit also going to ESF as 532
any more units and they will likely go to ESF

I think all four will go to ESF, so as to allow 3 and 6 Destroyer Flotillas to have four 054A each.
SSF is already getting eight 054A, so they need no more.
The four ESF units might well be 576-579, though.

Yes, since NSF has 1 flotilla and SSF has 2 flotillas of FFG the last run will be equipping ESF with 2 flotillas
That's 5 flotillas with 4 units each giving 20 units plus 525 and 526 which are with ESF also
NSF might end up getting the first 4 newer Type 054B but that will have to wait, the tally is shaping up nicely
All PLAN has to do now is establish a Flotilla of DDG to each fleet and build that up to 2 and we have each fleet with 2 flotillas of FFG and 2 flotillas of DDG, that's 16 warships each not to mention Type 056 corvettes
