That is not the way it is going to be. Most likely there will be only two in NSF and eight each in ESF (incl. two 054) and SSF.

By the way, A. Man's photo seems to suggest that 548 YANTAI has already arrived at Qingdao to join 1st Destroyer Flotilla, eleven months after it was launched 24 August 2010.

There is good information that the endstate will be:

SSF 568-571 (2 Destroyer Flotilla, 572-574 (9 Destroyer Flotilla)

ESF 525-526, 529-530 (3 Destroyer Flotilla), 546-549 (6 Destroyer Flotilla)

NSF 538, 550 (1 Destroyer Flotilla)

Read the many postings that A. Man has made over the last year.

What difference do you see,is it longer ? Are you just stating there is another one in the making?

New as in another one I havn't seen before not different, should have make it clear.


@ #1059 the question mark is there because I wasn't sure if it had been posted before, and whether it is just another part of an existing confirmed number of ships being built or another new ship in the production line.

It's the ? that threw me.Doesn't make any sense being there.( unless you weren't sure it was a 54A bow) Anyway thanks for posting.
