Chinese sailor I believe use much less water than the Americans. Lets say the number of crews is 250 ... and lets say 100L fresh water per day per sailor ... it means 25 tonnes, so 40 tonnes should be enough

Actually, there are 3 052D's, 2 052C's and 3 054A's

So it's actually 2 052Ds, 2 052Cs, 3 054As, and 1 056. Makes sense since I don't believe the third D has been commissioned yet. However, I do see a pair of turbine exhaust behind the middle 054A, so could that be one more 052C?

Definitely a huge gathering, was this for the recent exercise in the SCS?

The engine and other equipment use a lot of fresh water as well

i wonder if the 052C will be transferred to Zhanjiang after this, since Sanya will be getting all 052Ds. No. 167 will probably get reassigned somewhere else after that.
