Or sell it to friendly countries like Pakistan or NK or Cambodia or Thailand or even Indonesia with mate rate, Australia would be very "happy" if Indonesia bought it

Seems highly unlikely because PN is in mid of an extensive modernization plan ...

New Induction:

-04 FFGs (4k tons) - 054A/P class (2 commissioned, 2 under Fitting)
-04 CORs (3k tons) - Milgem class (2 launched, 2 under construction)
-04 OPVs (2k tons) - Damen class (2 Commissioned, 2 yet to be ordered)
-08 FFGs (3.5k tons) - Jinnah class (Designing/Weapon Package & Technicalities phase completed, construction yet to be started)
-08 SSKs (4K tons) - Yaun/Quing class (4 under construction in China, while the remaining 4 will be built in Pakistan)
-04 FACs (600 tons) - Azmat class (all 4 commissioned, 20 more planned but not confirmed if that will be Azmat class)
-08 MPAs (ATR 72) - Sea Eagle (3 already in service after converted to MPA configuration, while 4th is under conversion)
-10 MPAs (Embraer) - Sea Sultan (3 acquired & currently under conversion to MPA configuration)

Upgrades:

-04 FFGs (2.3K tons) - F22P class (Currently 1st of this class Zulfiqar is in under an unknown MLU program)
-03 SSKs (2k tons) - Augusta 90B (2 already completed MLU program by STM Turkey, while 3rd progress is not known yet)

Sorry for being off topic, but Yuan also used German diesel engines, right? Not sure if localization has been done for the rest of the Chinese fleet. Thanks.

Song class subs did. By the time the Yuan came along, the engines were indigenous. The breakpoint between the imported and local indigenous engines occurred somewhere around the 2005 to 2010, so 2007 is a safe zone. The delineation is clear with the 054A line, with the first four using the MTU engines but by the second batch in the fifth ship, the engines were indigenous.

Idiot think tanker barking about stopping MTU engines for Chinese military use is over 15 years late.

Think tanks want to stop selling so-called "German", in reality, Chinese localized engines to PLAN warships. lol

Benner is at a couple decades behind time about China using MTU engines! MTU no more, China's engines far superior.
