I will illustrate to make it simpler.

There is one on top of the bridge and another one on the CIWS.

There are a total of three in this 054A. One on top of the bridge, one with the gunnery radar and another on the side of the mast.

There is also a camera on the Type 344 gunnery radar used with the destroyers. This enables the radar to track the target visually and aim the main guns at it. Even the outdated Type 345 fire control radar for the HQ-7 system has EO camera which lets the missile to be guided visually.

Thanks! I was looking for something more of a master, 360 degree view, console, similar to this one

EOTS-IRST-FLIR balls like you see on the Chinese ships and the Azelsan example are already a fully 360 degrees, all around view. Balls are the most common FLIR designs.

Plus there are others. This one is from Koxinga at the CDF. The item on the left side is an IRST and I think I may have seen that on a number of ships, like some 052D but not all. (Our discussion with the picture centers on a completely separate object---one of the picture frames shows the dual sided radar seen on the Type 075 with the export name SR68.)

It also differs ship to ship.

Here, you see the ball like EOTS near the Sailor SATCOM. The SATCOM is to provide satellite internet.

But here the EO systems are much different. You can see four camera systems on the left and on the right side on top of the bridge, right below the perspective of the decoy launchers. I don't know what is the vintage of the ship above and but the lower one (#131) belongs to the newer batches due to the shape of the ESMs that happens to be near the camera systems.

Once again, ball is used here. Older ship.

Cameras with longer housings used here. Newer ship. Reasons to the change are unknown.

Hi why the empty shells having different colours while being manufactured or is it due to some erosion around the casing. If possible to answer
thank you

I wonder what they do with the empty casings, throw them into the sea or bring back to recycle/reuse?

Probably recycle them. But the shells fired from ships with the CIWS located amidships, e.g. 054A, 051B, 052B, the shells are lost at sea as there is no place to catch the shells.
