Via LKJ86 at the PDF. No pennant 052DL undergoing trials. Clearly this one is Jiangnan, the give away is the enormous 23,000 TEU box ship for customer CMA CGN at the background --- this can be among the biggest ships ever made in this world.

Here's another (older) image of an extended-deck version.

Jiangnan update. I spot seven 052Ds being fitted.

The last of the 052d (#25) may be launched with the last of the 055 (#8) in the next few days. While the latter is but almost confirmed, the former is still a very strong speculation.

Do we have any idea what those production lines will make after the destroyers ? Or will they shift personnel to speed up fitting them ?

Considering 052D no 25 and 055 no 8 are both built in the same drydock in the same position, I suspect they will both be launched at the same time the same way that DL had previously launched their last six destroyers in pairs from that drydock.

why did they not float the units backwards to the exit of the dry dock ready for launch? or am I missing something ?

when the back ends are launched the forward units are floated and pushed back we seen that from satellite images last time

Probably because they dont have any newer hulls to replace those forward positions in the drydock. Remember these are probably the last units.
Usually, the positions vacated in the forward part will be taken over by newer hulls' pre assembled parts.

but why would the be the last? will they stop at 8 x Type 055 before re-starting and 25th x Type 052DL doesnt seem like a good number to stop at
