052C/052D Class Destroyers

Seems to have small change on S-band radars.

What changes ?
The "rod" under the install position of S-band radar,exists on early 052D ship.
10th ship in the water and soon to go on trials.
10 "D" plus six "C"s...16 very strong, mulit-role, air defense destroyers.
Impressive...and still growing!
Maybe as many as 18-24 52Ds?
And then there will be 10-12 (or more?) Type 055s.
If the larger of those numbers is right, the PLAN wil end up with 42 modern, very capable air defense destroyers.

With respect,but have to say this is just the "beginning of beginning" for PLAN.The developing process is unstoppable,so either stay in a very low position,or on the way to catch、even set the new benchmark in this area.

and plus maybe 40+ 054A/B ... which also reasonably strong and capable air defence
You can 't say any realist number, exist for some Navies plans to long term up to 30 years USN do or White Papers for 5 years in general ofc for 30 years very approximative dépends futur budgets, leaders, politic etc ... with China it is obvious we can see reasonably only to short term i means about 5+ years after it is only for CV i see now enough often 4 - 6 about.
