In the paid Chahuahui episode on Thursday, they basically confirmed that the ship is indeed a carrier. They basically said everything about it except "this is a carrier".
Some stuff said:
By the year everyone’s anticipating, it needs to be in a state that looks “scary”. But at this pace, by that year it might end up being too scary. It might even be a bit more scary than the "technical launch" of INS Vikrant.
Hinting at the possibility of the ship being launched by 2027.
You should expect its construction process to differ from the previous carriers’—don’t “刻舟求剑” (i.e., don’t rigidly copy old assumptions or apply past patterns mechanically when the situation has changed).
If it really ends up having one launch and then another launch like a certain Indian carrier, that would be totally normal. It would also be normal for its fitting out phase to take a while, even though the construction has been speedy.
The ship will be very very big; its dimensions will be impressive.

are they implying Taiwan 2027 is real?
That was my feeling after listening yes. The year is not necessarily 2027 but a timetable exists, and the year were it all happens is closer than 004's normal commissioning date if construction went at a regular pace, hence why the construction was accelerated.
That wasn't my impression with regards to the ship specifically. To me, it sounded like the importance of 2027 itself.
Nah, just that 2027 is of course a politically significant date as the PLA's 100th anniversary. It would therefore be appropriate to have the first CVN launched in time to celebrate the occasion. They specifically mentioned that fitting-out will take longer as a result of early launching, which would make it useless for any real combat in 2027.
The sheer number of early-stage programs which will not be anywhere close to combat-ready by 2027 is more than enough evidence that any Taiwan deadline for that year is complete nonsense.
