Rather than saying the fall of the Iranian government is merely a matter of time, it would be more accurate to state that the continued existence of this incompetent and inept administration would be a greater mistake. I am more interested in the new government that will emerge after Iran's collapse. Will Iran form a pro-American government that bends over backwards to please Trump, much like the European Union? Or will it be another new government attempting to walk a tightrope between China, the United States, and Russia?
Reality is pretty cruel. No matter how good your intentions are, once you are out of power esp when ousted thats it for you. You're finished and nobody cares anymore. People move on to the new thing. Well in most cases anyway. Thats why while emotionally its good thing that Russia lets Assad take shelter to show it protects its own, objectively its just another burden that makes it harder for them to deal objectively with the next government of Syria. And Russia actually has it better. If you want to see a real bad example just look at India and them hosting Hasina. That stuff actively harms India regarding Bangladesh with no real benefit.

For Iran, I hopefully believe at the very least that larping monarch who dares calls himself crown prince will not get his rule in Iran. What qualification does he have in governance apart from being born to someone who failed in Iran even earlier? Even if Iran gets a new government, the US and Israel have loads of much younger and more qualified guys to pick who have way less baggage.

I highly doubt their government is in any danger from these protests.

The hired mob are just fodder for Israel, they're there to distract Iran's internal security so Mossad can setup their new network and soften up Iranian defences for Israel's next attack. I mean they didn't even bother coming up with a narrative other than bring back the dictator king this time, gaining Iranian public support obviously isn't the goal. Also bit awkward timing on the propaganda front considering US is going full Gestapo obey-or-die on their own people right now, and it's only been 6 month since Israel attack them unprovoked, but that's also pretty on brand with US/Israel planning these days.

The general assumption with Israel/American playbook is the target government isn't as ruthless as themselves, I mean when the same thing happen in America regime forces will gun them down without even a second thought, hell they gun down their own people for just holding their hand wrong. It's only because countries like Iran don't mob strategy could work.

Shutting down internet and jamming Starlink kinda give hope that Iran will actually do the right thing for once: kill them all.

Can’t help but feel that the true goal of the agitators is to become democratic martyrs minus the dying part so they can go scrub dishes or start their own OF channels in the states…

People keep asking when China will make a stand, I think this is the line that China will actively hold. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are the core interests China will provide lethal aid to defend. Being able to flip Turkey from NATO to China’s alliance will be a massive bonus, buts it’s more Pakistan and Turkey driving this than China.
