Upsetting news for all, except for the honour-abru Janiz, of course.
August 1st Acrobatic Team suffered a fatality during training, losing aircraft 09. Both pilots ejected. The front seat pilot landed with injuries but the pilot in the rear seat collided with another aircraft in the formation and died on impact. The other aircraft made a successful emergency landing. The casualty was Yu Xu, the first female pilot of August 1st, and one of four female combat aircraft pilots in the PLAAF.

Yes rest in peace Ms Xu, she died having done what she love. Being the co-pilot seated at the rear she had most probably been instructing a rookie or coordinating the performance. It is a very sad day but the show must go on and learn from this accident.
