Assuming a significant portion of people on this forum live in Europe, Canada or America. How many is willing to pack up and leave.
For many younger generations that I met in recent years, many of them do want to go back to China and most of them did. Often it is their parents that want them to stay in the US. EU, Australia, Canada, or New Zealand.

As for many others, no one can speak for others. Many Asians and Chinese Americans view the US as their home and want to stay here and contribute.

For others, they have a career and many assets in their host countries that it is difficult for them to simply pack up and leave.

For some, leaving is not a problem and can do so in any minute when they perceive staying is no more beneficial and danger.

However, it doesn't change the fact that the US has become much more danger for many Chinese Americans. And many of them need to change their living pattern such as no more subway commute or avoid jogging and running in certain area.

What I know that I experience from the past 10 years, being Chinese is beautiful and will remain so in this coming decade and beyond. ;)

He is from Australia.... does anti-Asian racism not exist in Australia? Pack up and leave?
Anti anything exist anywhere in different proportions. In a local population it balance itself up because it is based on relations between people.

The problem is when a government feed the population with racism, anti-Asian, anti anything... it's the moment when things is going sour. I'm french Canadian , the government rhetoric against China, Russia, or just the majority non-Lgdptrick+... is turning me insane but I would go where ? Do China would take a white guy from Canada with open arms without some anti-nato westerner stuff ???

Every country is protecting their interest somewhat... Some use the ''throwing mud'' method, other take the '' up their sleeves'' method to compete. Would be way better to build together and stop the madness... Imagine the amount of ressources loss presently while doing the throwing mud negative competition side of things...

They have been claiming the Chinese banking sector was imploding for over a year and that Chinese real estate would implode with Evergrande.
But then what happens? US commercial real estate implodes, and US banks start failing in sequence one after the other.

WeWork is a good example of what is happening to US commercial real estate. Went from $47 billion USD valuation in 2019 to $361 million USD this year. 100X reduction in stock value.

Should the need arise and the danger get to that level, I would given that I do have family in China and I could work overseas if need be but I am specifically referring to the USA here given the sheer amount of racism and violence happening there and well the fact that the USA is simply that dangerous compared to everywhere else given how crazy things are there (I mean they literally trying to turn Jesus into an ai god for crying out loud) (if the rest of the world gets that bad, then everyone here should exercise there own judgement). Anti-Asian sentiment exists in Australia like anywhere else in the western world, but not anywhere to the point where I have to worry about losing my family to a random jogging incident where guns are used that the USA does on literally comical levels where you can’t leave a 4 year old alone for two seconds before they blow their own brains out because some idiot forgot to lock that damn gun away somewhere. Right now if I was in the US or even Canada, I would have long since nicked off without a fuss and if where I am at is going to be as bad, I would gladly consider my options. Thankfully the insanity where I am at has yet to get to that level and hopefully if the US goes down under and gives an example to the world on a level where is media cannot hide anything, I wouldn’t need to do any thing that drastic but as of now, given current commitments, I will have to own it as it is but I will definitely be careful for potential violence. Thankfully no one seems to be interested in random beat downs or extreme attacks on Chinese restaurants like in NYC recently and given how placid people are right now, that would be somewhat difficult to see happen unless their is an extreme change in sanity and an allowance for people to have guns in homes.
