Miscellaneous News

Don't know why people are making a mountain out of a molehill out of this.

I mean yeah, I know why Western propagandists are doing that, but I don't know why people who are supporters of a strong China are doing so.

The ambassador was responding to questions about Crimea, which he pointed out that it was originally Russian. Then the interviewer claimed that under "International Law", Crimea belonged to Ukraine. Well no, that's bogus. There's no "International Law" that says Crimea belonged to Ukraine. There are countries that recognize Ukraine's sovereignty over Crimea, and now, there are countries that recognize Russia's sovereignty over Crimea. What Amb. Lu pointed out was this simple fact. Sovereignty is based on international *recognition*, there's no "law" that concretized the borders of ex-Soviet countries. Ukraine had Crimea, and now it doesn't, and pretty soon, it won't have the eastern half of Ukraine either.

If I was the ambassador, I would have asked the interviewer where was his precious international law when France invaded China in the 19th century.

Too many people are suckers to western media narrative without critical thought.

They didn't say anything doesn't mean they didn't care
There is difference between Europe and Non Europe that most people overlook.
how many Russians emigrated over past hundreds years to Europa. Russia will have to accelerate Europe decline. what other way than prolong conflict in Ukraine?. Crimea added 1m population. Its not this population but infrastructure for many millions more during tourist seasons with expanded road/ train/ferries/new airport/multiple helicopter bases. this investments certainly helped in relative smooth take over of Southern Ukraine.

other non Europe ex Soviet countries are not Russia competitors and are well integrated into Russia when you look at people connections look at the greenish card at lower left side of monitor in first 8 seconds of video. do you know why they need to display that?

It’s funny, I see a lot of reaction to what the Chinese ambassador to France said, in French. Yet I have not seen a full transcript of what exactly he is suppose to have said.

This seems suspiciously like the using of deliberate mistranslations to create sensationalist stories that the west has been engaged in against China since forever. The only difference is that because the original interview was in French, it’s not as easy for Chinese users to see through the obvious and transparent lie.

I keep hearing from caucasoids that freedom and liberal democracy is what sours innovation. Surely, it cannot be that the free and Democratic Anglo led west would resort to stealing from godless communist Chinese can it?
also, qatar caught some Indian spies and will execute them

it gets better, these so called spies weren’t spying for India, but for Israel!

The ambassador's remarks were obviously exaggerated and taken out of context.

This is the full text in Chinese, I couldn't find the English version.

They talked a lot, but the western media only picked up what they wanted.

I don't think it's worth further discussion on this forum.
