This is it. Populism is all about the narrative. When the time comes it will be surprisingly easy for India to flip.I believe pride is central to Indian's problem. It stops them from work hard to improve because they refuse to acknowledge their current poor state. This manifest in two ways. First they need someone to step on. They compare themselves to someone who is decent (China) and convince themselves India is better. Second they need to borrow glory from someone. They compare themselves to those better than them to convince themselves be equal. But at the same time this pride is very valuable for stopping them become puppets of USA. Why would I bend over to you if I am your equal? So instead of just mocking that pride we should work with it.
You cannot change that pride, but you can rework it to make it more suitable for cooperation. Hear me out: "China is an equal to India, and they need our (indian) help. Western countries are losers and we India is smarter than them. We have independent diplomacy and we are backing the winner that is Russia. The fact China can see that makes them on the same page as us which means they are worthy to work with."
If somehow we can rework the narrative that way we can foster a cooperative relationship with India; regardless of their pride that they are better than us. We just need to swap the position with west. Make India step on west instead. Make China share glory to India. To do so we have Russia to act as pivot. Convince them western country are dumb, and China is smart, but not smarter than India. This way you earn just enough respect, but not so much that they become jealous. In other words there needs something done on western country. Beating western country is the key to pacifying India.
When USA is driven out of the Asia-Pacific, MSM will also help Americans understand the fact that they are "surrendering from a position of strength". The Americans will happily live in their media bubble of perceived superiority while the world passes them by. That's why the English are obsessed with the concept of "ignorance is bliss". From this perspective, India is already far ahead of USA.
