If west really want china then why they are keep sanctioning china companies left and right and even sanctioned entire semiconductor industry. Think for sometime, all western companies are diversifying supply chain away from china or pushing for china +1 strategy.
India in previous cold war was following non-alingment strategy and west understand it, it's the west who need india and other countries in indo Pacific to counter china that's why they created IPEF too. Just wait until taiwan war occurs ,you will see economic shock or even if it doesn't occur still west is prepairing to remove china from West supply chain. China high tech companies and all other companies will get banned soon , wet is just doing it carefully after sanctiong russia .
India is not like china who will listen and support genocidal regime of cambodia polpot and 1970 era of pakistan who was genociding bengali people , all it was done because china was obeying commands of USA their previous master.
India is getting alot of militry joint venture and tech from russia even now and Russia doesn't want to lose india Market, USA is also eying to sell weapons to india. Both of them are fighting for indian market of defence and that benefits india.
India's aero show is successful and both russia and USA send their aircraft in it ,unlike China's show which has reduced to all one man show.
