Yikes, the comments turned into a flame war real fast.
Another loonie
I remember seeing a video of Gordan Chang with his father on top of a building looking over a city supposedly in China talking about how it was all an illusion. The city didn't look like a Chinese city so I suspect it was some regular city in the US. If he were going to make such a video why not at the Bund overlooking the Pudong River? I bet the guy is too afraid of actually entering China because for a so-called China expert, I've never heard or seen him in any instance be in China. At least you saw Pinkov with the balls to do that.
I can imagine when Gordie is growing up, he may have a heart to heart talk with his dad.The issue with Gordan is that when he grew up as mix raced, he choose to side with the better/winning side, and to lessing the cognititiave dissonance he threw out his other half... and didn't bother to look back... and back then America indeed was the undisputed #1... no one can blame him for doing that...
The problem is Gordan wrapped his entire self-identity, core being, and self-worth to being American/white side and now that China is catching up to and quickly surpassing America, the more the disparity is leveled and the more progress China makes, its an affront to Gordan's self-worth and an attack on the identity that he has crafted and built for himself since young childhood
This is why the more successful China becomes the more hatred Gordan will have for Chinese and his Chinese side, because to him and his established identity, it feels like he is losing...
His dad is Chinese tho, mom is white.I can imagine when Gordie is growing up, he may have a heart to heart talk with his dad.
Gordie - dad I thought I'm white like you!
Father- Yes you are, here eat your banana and be quite....lol

Let's not be so mean to Gordon and let's give him a moment of silence.Uncle Gordo seems like a "snowflake" by his party definition
I don't know the trend of Chinese immigrants going through the jungle of South America. But the willingness of Chinese students to study in the U.S. is at a low point. Why? Sounds like a good way to cull idiots from the gene pool.
