From the 5 eyes to QUAD to AUKUS, my opinion it will be just the US and Australia. My suggestion IF I'm part of the CCP think tank, I will arm Indonesia to the teeth and make her richer. That will leave the US alone to confront China as the Aussies will be more concern on what happening on their backyard rather than involve themselves in any American misadventure, same with NK regarding SK and Japan.

That is how you play geopolitics, make trouble on your adversary backyard.:)

At this point, the USA wants to get out of Ukraine to focus on other pressing matters, but stupid shit like Zelensky trying to be a big boy sometimes ruins this plan and forces the USA to foot the bit, which although helps them now, does leave them in a poorer position which everything moving forward. One must wonder about how sooner or later, the USA will eventually get rid of him when the problems in the USA gets out of control and when that happens, I wonder how Europe will react knowing that they willing backed a dying horse for no real benefit and how much the USA image will be damaged as a result at a time when they probably have no idea about the consequences. The conflict makes the USA a lot of money now but I am not sure if the economic and societal damage is worth it, especially given the waste in resources when they need their full strength to fight China because right now moving forward, they might as well be a good boy and permanently play dead like a good mongrel because all they accomplished is unite China and Russia like never before while ensuring that the global south knows the consequences of any close relations with the USA will be a compete dud. Still as long as the USA ends up going mad max while both China and Russia is left out of it, I can say a fate well deserved and honestly for all the problems caused, simply cannot happen soon enough, at least to show the rest of the Anglo scum if they want to eat them apples and those Europe idiots that really, there garden looks pretty shitty right now

The European Parliament should declare Russia a terrorist state for the "intimidation and destruction of Ukrainians as a nation," according to a strongly-worded resolution being drafted by the centre-right European People's Party (EPP) and seen by Euronews.

By declaring Russia a state sponsor of terrorism, MEPs want to prepare the ground for Putin and his government to be held accountable for these crimes before an international tribunal.

Besides branding Russia a terrorist state, centre-right lawmakers demand that financial assets frozen under EU sanctions be confiscated and then used to finance Ukraine's reconstruction, an idea that has gained traction in recent months but still faces a series of unanswered legal questions.

In a more radical turn, the resolution advocates a gradual limitation of EU-Russia diplomatic relations "until their complete rupture" and the expulsion of Russian ambassadors from all member states.

This could prove to be a red line for lawmakers who prefer to keep the dialogue open in a bid to bring the war to an end.

French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz are among the European leaders who still hold occasional phone calls with Vladimir Putin.

North Korea has launched an intercontinental ballistic missile with enough range to hit the US mainland, Japan's defence minister says.

"Based on calculations taking the trajectory into account, the ballistic missile this time around could have had a range capability of 15,000km, depending on the weight of its warhead, and if that's the case, it means the US mainland was within its range," he said.
