Russia should try to lure Chinese manufacturers to provide the capital-heavy and boring vehicle manufacturing, and then use that as a base to build self driving on top. That should decrease their R&D costs, scaling costs and iteration speed.

Its like how China used Western chips to develop its electronics market and built so much stuff with that. Better take the L on car manufacturing and try to compete on other promising fields

Iran uses 73 Ballistic missiles and Shahed-136 drones against 42 targets against Kurdish groups in Iraq. Quite an impressive number of launches.

In case anyone is wondering, former US CENTCOM commander earlier this year claims that Iran has an arsenal of 3000 ballistic missiles.

I didn't expect Iran to have so many honestly, that's a pretty decent sized stockpile for Iran if that number is accurate. The fact they're willing to expend so many against some Kurdish groups means they can most likely replace them quickly. Also, they used Shahed-136 drones so they should be able to mass produced these too if they can spare a bunch to Russia.

This number should help give one a mental check to compare with anytime some think tank claims the PLARF only has a certain number of missiles.

That man is going to suffer one of these days, and I suspect that the German people might actually turn him into a sausage due to his USA shaft sucking, something I believe that if things become bad enough, might eventually allow for the advent of a second hitler and this time, neither China nor Russia will save the EU from this crisis that they have dug up for themselves. The stupid part is that this is all avoidable

I am sure there is cooperation going on in automobiles and infrastructure projects but overall size of real government spending in Russia make investment and collaboration a second priority. We cannot assume that private collaboration is the only way to innovation and prosperity where it may inhibit things over long term in other sectors.
this Siemens example will not apply to Russia where Siemens is telling Asian countries investment depends on export potential as if Asians cannot do R&D or they dont have money to do some thing else.
