The American eagle is flapping rabidly pecking for a fight as it rots with diseases both from infection (COVID, monkey pox) and autoimmunity (race wars, political infighting, economic decline).
Why so impatient? It's been like 15 minutes into an international crisis. You already want it to be over? China's only starting... and that applies to everything, not just Taiwan.

Raise and reraise, three bet, four bet, five bet lol and so on... US didn't fold and now the flop comes out - China wants to have exercises around Taiwan potentially a pretense for AR. PLA would need weeks to build up the proper preparations for an occupational war. It would be fucking difficult to pull off seeing as Taiwan is an island and it's not like PLA can march in. Taiwan is also considerably more high tech than Ukraine. But on the bright side it is also much more difficult to arm and supply unlike Ukraine.

Seeing how poorly Russia is doing in Ukraine i'm not personally too worried.
Russia has now lost over 5000 vehicles in their three day war and have all but emptied their garrisons near Finland... they made similar threts towards Finland as China did against Pelosi.
Now we see reality.
